Our data boundary
User ID. Coin information. Subscription information.
These are the only categories of app information we collect. Everything else stays on your phone.
01. Our privacy commitment
This Privacy Policy explains the information Mavilo collects and how it is used when you use our Android application. Mavilo is an ocean-inspired AI character experience intended only for adults aged 18 or older.
We limit the app information we collect to your user ID, coin information, and subscription information. Other information used by the app is stored and used locally on your phone and is not collected by us.
02. The information we collect
The identifier used to associate you with your coin balance and subscription entitlements.
Your coin balance, coin purchases, and records of coins credited or spent.
Your selected plan, purchase or renewal status, and entitlement start and end dates.
Purchase verification records are used only as part of coin or subscription information. We do not collect your payment card number, bank details, or billing credentials. Google Play handles payment processing under its own policies.
03. Information on your phone
All other app information, including conversations, images, local preferences, and character selections, stays on your phone for local use. We do not collect or upload that information.
We do not collect your real name, date of birth, contact list, location, advertising identifier, browsing history, or device analytics. We do not use your locally stored content for advertising or model training.
You control local information through your phone and the app’s available data controls. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app may permanently remove local content. Local data may not be recoverable afterward.
04. How the collected data is used
We use the three categories of collected app information only to:
- Associate coin and membership entitlements with your user ID.
- Confirm coin purchases, maintain your balance, and apply coin transactions.
- Activate, renew, manage, and verify subscription benefits.
- Resolve entitlement or purchase problems and prevent duplicate credits or misuse.
- Meet applicable obligations relating to purchases and subscriptions.
We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising.
06. Retention and your choices
We keep user ID, coin, and subscription information only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant functions, resolve purchase disputes, and meet applicable legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or made non-identifiable.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited information we hold by contacting us. Where applicable, you may also object to or request restrictions on processing, request portability, or raise a concern with your local privacy authority.
Removing local app data does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage cancellation through Google Play to stop future renewals. Deletion may affect our ability to verify or provide your entitlements; any records legally required to be retained are kept only for that purpose.
07. Security and adult use
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the limited information we handle. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your phone secure and do not share payment credentials or sensitive personal information.
Mavilo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to us, contact us so that we can review the matter and delete it where appropriate.
08. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Please review the policy when using a new version of Mavilo.
